Testimonials & Reviews
We love to hear from our guests. Our authentic Cuban restaurant on Lincoln Road in Miami offers a taste of Havana in the 1950s. But don’t take our word for it – read our testimonials below.
OH MY!!! Talk about the best service ever at a Restaurant! Freddy, the waiter over at Havana 1957 on Lincoln Street in Miami Beach, FL was AMAZING!!!! Once seated, Freddy took my husband and I drink order, followed by dinner order. The drinks came immediately and the food followed. His drink, food, and desert recommendations were ON POINT! For a minute, we actually thought we were in Havana. I would highly recommend this location and if you can choose your waiter, PLEASE ASK FOR FREDDY. You will not be disappointed, I PROMISE. Then, to top of off, the manager (Carlos) stopped by to check on things to ensure we enjoyed our meal. It is not everyday you have a wonderful waiter and manager walking around to ensure EVERYTHING was tasty and met our expectations. Again, I highly recommend this location
For my first Cuban Food experience, I most certainly chose the best restaurant!
We ordered some local favorites like the sangria and the chicken, and everything had so much good flavor.
The plantains were equally as good, along with the hospitality from the server, this is definitely where I'd suggest anyone go for some authentic Cuban food!
True Cuban experience. The decor of this place is dope. We came here for cortaditos and the service was great. The staff was so friendly and made us feel like we had all known each other for a lifetime. Affordable, delicious, and right in the heart of Lincoln street. I really recommend coming here to at least check out the cool vibe.
Before coming to Miami, I was told by my friends that I could find a lot of good Cuban restaurants here. And now I believed that they were not joking when they said that lol. If Yelp allows half point, I'd give this place 4.5. And I'll explain why.
My boyfriend had the skirt stake. To us, this dish was a little subpar. The stake really lacked seasoning, and was a little chewy. Imagine having an overcooked stake. And that was exactly the kind the texture we got from this dish. The caramelized onions were pretty good though, balancing out the greasiness from the stake.
I tried the sample platter, consisting of their signature beef, pork, and chicken dishes. If the stake was the only thing we tried, I would have given this place a 3. But this platter was like everything I could ask for. I wouldn't want to change anything of it. There was even a small piece of pork crackling on the top. OMG what a dream! The seasoning was right on point. With complex and different flavor profile for all of the three dishes, each of them shined by themselves.
If you want to have a sneak peek of the Cuban flavor, definitely go with the sampler platter. It will be a wonderful treat for yourself!
Oh my goodness! I had the best Cuban food experience ever! I had the Cubano, chicken and rice, fried plantains and much more! I just been hitting home runs since I been here.this place is beautiful and quite a charm in decor, I will take my family there again!
Out last day in Miami - usual waiting for flight etc so decided to do lunch and a final mojito before flying back - stumbled upon this place - we thought why not as it was busier than the other restaurants and despite not a lot of vegetarian choices on menu the waitress Was so helpful - food came unlike the run of the mill in ocean drive every signal one was freshly prepared the salsa were amazing and emphasis was on quality (and quantity) luckily my wife noticed someone else’s sandwich and decided to share! The waitress and bar staff were super friendly and the food and drinks were amazing-! A great end to our stay in miMi - who needs airplane food !
